Every centre deserves a feed it's proud of.

That's the whole reason Tickaboo exists. It's built on the Gold Coast by Clayton Hackett, who got tired of watching good centres post nothing at all because every decent photo had a child's face in it.

In July 2026, Australia's largest childcare provider stopped commercial photography across every one of its centres. Nobody called it an overreaction.

Goodstart runs more than 650 services. When an operator that size decides the safest move is to stop taking photos, you get a fair sense of how heavy the risk feels for everyone smaller.

The editing eats the afternoon

Someone stops teaching and drags a sticker over each face by hand. It never gets faster, and it never looks good.

So the feed goes quiet

Posting less is the easiest way to stay out of trouble. It's also how a centre with a waitlist ends up looking closed.

And families miss the day

The photos parents actually want are the ordinary ones. Those are exactly the photos with faces in them.

We don't think the answer is posting less. Clear the photo, then post it anyway.

Which has led to a few calls a bigger company probably wouldn't make.

No software makes you compliant

Ours included. Be suspicious of anyone who tells you otherwise. We handle the image, you keep the judgement.

Blurring is free, forever

It runs on your own phone, the photo never leaves the device, and it doesn't cost a credit on any plan including the free one. Try it without an account.

Originals don't hang around

Once a photo has been through the studio, the original is deleted on the next daily sweep. We're not building a library of children's faces.

Your photos never train anything

Not our models, not anyone else's. Your images do your job and then they're done.

Every AI edit owns up to it

Anything with a generated child in it carries a disclosure before you can export it. That part isn't optional, by design.

The consent register ships when it's right Soon

It's the feature people ask about most, which is exactly why it isn't going out half finished.

Hi, I'm Clayton.

I've run a marketing business for childcare centres for more than ten years, out of the Gold Coast. In that time I've built the websites, run the ads and written the posts for a lot of services.

The same problem came up on nearly every account. Photos were the most time consuming job on the list. Staff were losing hours a week to editing, the best photos of the day couldn't be used because the permissions weren't there, and the ones that were safe to post were the dull ones. Client after client raised it with me.

Nothing on the market fixed the whole thing, so I built it. Tickaboo is the tool I spent a decade wishing my clients had.

The things people usually ask.

Clayton Hackett, through Goober Marketing Pty Ltd (ABN 34 694 706 619), a Gold Coast digital business he owns and runs. Tickaboo is entirely Australian owned and operated.

Your photos, consent records and account data are stored in Australia, in the Sydney region. The AI edit itself is done by an offshore processing provider, so the image does leave the country for that step. It's all set out plainly in the privacy policy.

Not yet. The consent register and face matching are still being built. Live today: face blurring, turning a child away from camera, removal, synthetic replacement, photo enhancement, and the brand and social kits.
